Taxi
Taxis are available outside baggage claim at both terminals and usually do not require an advance reservation.
At Terminal 1, taxis wait on the east side of baggage claim, outside doors 1 to 4. At Terminal 3, the taxi pickup area is outside baggage claim on Level Zero, near door 52.
Uber and Lyft
Uber and Lyft are authorized to pick up passengers at Harry Reid International Airport, but they do not collect travelers directly outside baggage claim.
At Terminal 1, the rideshare pickup area is on Level 2 of the parking garage. At Terminal 3, pickup is on the Valet Level of the parking garage. Travelers must request their ride through the dedicated app and follow the airport signs to the designated area.
Public transportation and other options
RTC public buses serve both airport terminals. The Terminal 1 bus stop is on Level Zero, while the Terminal 3 stop is on Level 2, from the exit door numbered 44.
Travelers can also take a courtesy shuttle to the airport’s Rent-A-Car Center. Vegas Loop rides currently pick up passengers on Level Zero at both terminals and drop them off at the departure curbs.
Know your terminal before arranging airport transportation
Harry Reid International Airport uses two passenger terminals: Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. They have separate baggage-claim areas, parking garages and ground transportation locations.
Before arranging a pickup, confirm your airline, flight number, terminal and baggage-claim location.
Private vehicles, SUVs and limousines use the west side of Terminal 1 baggage claim, outside exit doors 7 to 10. At Terminal 3, their designated pickup areas are on Level Zero at either end of the building.
Airport locations and procedures can change, so check the latest instructions before traveling.
Can you move between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3?
Harry Reid International Airport operates a complimentary shuttle between its two terminals. The shuttle runs approximately every 20 to 30 minutes.
At Terminal 1, take the elevator or escalator from baggage claim to Level Zero, exit the building and walk toward the covered parking garage. At Terminal 3, the shuttle stop is on Level Zero in the center of the curb.
Walking between the terminals is not possible because they are in separate areas of the airport campus. Going to the wrong terminal can therefore add a shuttle journey and extra waiting time.
The inter-terminal shuttle should not be confused with a shared airport-to-hotel shuttle or the airport trams that connect terminals and concourses.
What is an airport meet-and-greet service?
Meet-and-greet is a pre-arranged airport service in which a chauffeur meets you inside the terminal instead of requiring you to locate a vehicle in a parking garage or general pickup queue.
